  • The admission process for all the seats of M.D.S. programs in K.M. Shah Dental College at Sumandeep Vidyapeeth, an Institution Deemed to be University will be conducted through Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Govt. of India
  •  Only NEET MDS Qualified Candidates are Eligible for admissions in M.D.S. programs.
  •  The official website of Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Govt. of India is http://www.mcc.nic.in
  • The aspirant shall study the details of Counselling Scheme, Counselling Schedule, FAQs, News & Announcements sections, on http://www.mcc.nic.in/ before proceeding.
  • The admission process stages shall be as below:
  1. Online Registration on   http://www.mcc.nic.in/ within the stipulated timeframe
  2. Online Payment of Registration Fees on   http://www.mcc.nic.in/ within the stipulated timeframe
  3. Online Choice Filling on   http://www.mcc.nic.in/ within the stipulated timeframe
  4. Online Seat Allotment Result : on   http://www.mcc.nic.in/

  5. Reporting (in person/ offline) to the Allotted Institute within the stipulated timeframe for :

      1. Verification and Submission of Original Documents and

      2. Payment of applicable educational fees

  • Candidate seeking admission in Sumandeep Vidyapeeth in MDS shall ‘Register’ themselves on official website of Medical Counselling Committee http://www.mcc.nic.in/ under “DEEMED UNIVERSITY” window.
  •  Please Note that “Registration” on MCC portal & participation in further prescribed counselling process is mandatory for admissions in Sumandeep Vidyapeeth Deemed to be University.
  • Candidates who will be allotted Sumandeep Vi dyapeeth through MCC Counselling will have to strictly report to the institute within stipulated time as prescribed by MCC. Candidate who fails to report at the Sumandeep Vidyapeeth within the stipulated time shall not be considered for further counselling procedure.
  •  At the time of reporting to the Sumandeep Vidyapeeth the candidate must produce Allotment letter issued by MCC along with the required documents as applicable to his/her category in original and two sets of photocopies for the process of verification and ascertainment of the eligibility.   •  During reporting the candidates are also required to remit the applicable Annual Fee irrespective of deposits remitted by candidate to MCC at the time of registration. Click here for details of course-wise fee structure of Sumandeep Vidyapeeth.
  •  During Reporting at Sumandeep Vidyapeeth the Verification of Documents, the Legal formalities, Payment of fees and Generation of Online Admission Letter on MCC website will be carried out.
  •  Commencement of Academic Year is as per the statutory norms.

  • All the admissions in the B.D.S. program at Sumandeep Vidyapeeth Deemed to be University will be done through a counseling scheme laid down by the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC), Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Government of India (Visit: https://mcc.nic.in/UGCounselling/)
  • Any candidate desirous of seeking admission to the M.B.B.S. / B.D.S. programs at Sumandeep Vidyapeeth Deemed to be University shall meet the eligibility criteria laid down by Medical Council of India (MCI) /Dental Council of India (DCI) / DGHS, MCC.
  • The outline of Counseling scheme for admission in Sumandeep Vidyapeeth is as under:
  • Registration by the Candidate on mcc.nic.in
  • Online Payment of Registration Charges & Security Deposit (for DEEMED University Category) by Candidate to MCC, Govt. of India
  • Choice filling by Candidate
  • Result: Seat Allotted / Seat Not Allotted by MCC
  • If Seat Allotted then: Reporting to the allotted Institute by the Candidate within stipulated time for:
  • Verification of Documents
  • Payment of Educational Fees
  • Generation of ADMISSION LETTER
  • If the Seat is Not Allotted, then again Choice Filling by candidate for Subsequent Rounds

  • Those who are paying the fees through NET BANKING shall transfer the amount through NEFT/ RTGS mode only. Please do not transfer the amount through IMPS mode. After successful transaction the candidate must note the UTRNo. and the transaction details shall be filled in Transaction Details Form (http://tiny.cc/svtr)
  • Those who are paying the fees through Demand Draft shall prepare the DD before coming for reporting. The Demand Draft should be in the Name of “Sumandeep Vidyapeeth Deemed to be University” payable at Vadodara.
  • College Security Deposit will be refunded without interest after completion of course and on clearing all dues of the Sumandeep Vidyapeeth Deemed to be University.
  • Failure to remit the Educational fees within the notified time limits by the student shall attract the compensatory interest as per the regulations of Institution.
  • Hostel & Mess fees are not to be paid in advance. It shall not be included in the DD/RTGS. It can be paid after the completion of admission process.

Eligibility

  •  The Candidate applying to Diploma in Dental Mechanics program of the institution shall be 17 years as on 31st December of the year of admission and shall be medically fit to undergo the said programs.
  • A candidate applying must have passed the Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) in science stream (with Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English) conducted by the respective State/Central Government Authorities Recognized as equivalent to 10+2 Examination by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU)
  • Course Duration: 2 Years
