The vision of the department is to become an accomplished centre of unique evidence based periodontal education system in the country with a capacity and capability to share ideas and train students and faculty. To be able to provide best periodontal care to the needy with state of art technology and to bring forth hypothesis base, community oriented, high impact research, which would be able to contribute to evidence based periodontal practice for the benefit of society.
Our primary goal is to carry forward and consolidate the gains of Evidence based education system by implementing evidence-based curriculum by enhanced learner participation in periodontal teaching and practice to achieve maximum patient satisfaction. Development of evidence-based treatment protocols suitable to local problems and in doing so create a new paradigm in periodontal care and education.
